What inspires you to share baptism in the Holy Spirit with others?

The sheer transformation it brings. No event is more initially transformative for the Christian disciple than the baptism of the Spirit. If you want people to come alive to God and to be faithful to Jesus, if you want people to want to evangelize, you have to connect them to the Holy Spirit in whom Jesus wants to immerse all of us. Without being filled with the Holy Spirit from on high, we cannot follow Jesus, we cannot share Jesus. Without the baptism in the Spirit, our Church remains dead and never can fulfill her purpose. Without the baptism in the Spirit, the world will shape the Church instead the Church on fire with God’s love shaping the world.
