I thank God for the Catholic Charismatic Renewal not only because of being open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit, but also for the greater love that He wants to pour upon us with the greater help of the Holy Spirit, the advocate, the paraclete. I didn’t realize that God wants a deeper connection to us, much more than what we ever think about, and He wants more intimacy with us more than any other intimate relationship that we could ever imagine. And this is what the Catholic Charismatic Renewal showed me, that I can ever be loved and be closer to Him on a much more deeper level than I could think of.
