Misty Edwards

Misty Edwards is a senior leader at the International House of Prayer where she has helped build day and night prayer for the past 24 years. Misty is a worship leader and a song writer who has recorded several music albums on themes such as intimacy with God, the inner life of prayer and wholeheartedness toward the pursuit of the Beloved.

Misty has remained single in order to focus on undistracted devotion and service in the house of prayer. Mary of Bethany being one of her primary heroes Misty mentors and teaches others on the value of sitting at the feet of Jesus and hearing His word along with the heart of John the Baptist, to be a messenger preparing the way for the return of the Lord as Bridegroom, King and Judge. She greatly values the things of the Spirit and seeks to live abiding in Him.

Misty has worked closely with Mike Bickle, the founder of the International house of prayer and the leadership team that founded day and night prayer in both the prayer room and in messaging.
