Dr. Karen Dwyer is a retired award-winning university professor, an inspirational speaker, and the author of ten books (six of which are Catholic publications), including WRAP Yourself in Scripture, WRAP Yourself in JOY, Esther for Such a Time as This: Prayer, Reversals & JOY, Nehemiah: Rebuilding Hope & Joy in Your Life, and The Joy of Advent: Journey with the People, Events &, Prayers plus the iConquer Speech Anxiety textbooks.

Karen hosts the Catholic podcast, Wrap Yourself in JOY on the Ultimate Christian Podcast Network. She has been a guest on EWTN’s The Choices We Face and on several Catholic radio programs. She is the Coordinator for Magnificat-Omaha and has served on the Board of Directors for KVSS Spirit Catholic Radio and the national Mission Advisory Council for the Institute for Priestly Formation (IPF). Karen has been a prayer group leader and small group Bible study teacher for over 25 years in the Catholic Church.

Karen and her husband attorney Larry Dwyer were honored with the Our Lady of Guadalupe Award for their service to the Institute for Priestly Formation. They are active members of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Omaha, NE.

Karen says, “The Lord Jesus Christ wants to share His joy with you (John 15: 11). He is the One who sustained me through great tragedy and gave me His joy. Our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, our Savior, and the Holy Spirit want to give YOU more joy. ”
