David Peterman has been active in the Charismatic Renewal for fifty years when he, as a teenager, was a founding member of the Christian Community of God’s Delight. CCGD is a predominately Catholic Charismatic Covenant Community in Dallas Texas that celebrated its 50th anniversary on March 24 th , 2023. David has been serving as the Overall Coordinator since 2007. David also serves as the President of the Board for Mount St. Michael Catholic School in Dallas, on the council of Pentecost Today USA, and is a leader of the North American Network of Charismatic Covenant Communities.

David is a graduate of SMU with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a graduate of the University of Dallas with a master’s degree in business administration. David retired from Texas Instruments after a 45-year career.

David and his wife Laurie have raised five, now adult daughters and David and Laurie have spoken on the topics of marriage and family at regional conferences.
